Liouvillian solutions of linear difference-differential equations

For a field k with an automorphism σ and a derivation δ, we introduce the notion of liouvillian solutions of linear difference-differential systems {σ(Y ) = AY, δ(Y ) = BY } over k and characterize the existence of liouvillian solutions in terms of the Galois group of the systems. We will give an algorithm to decide whether such a system has liouvillian solutions when k = C(x, t), σ(x) = x + 1,...

Exact and numerical solutions of linear and non-linear systems of fractional partial differential equations

The present study introduces a new technique of homotopy perturbation method for the solution of systems of fractional partial differential equations. The proposed scheme is based on Laplace transform and new homotopy perturbation methods. The fractional derivatives are considered in Caputo sense. To illustrate the ability and reliability of the method some examples are provided. The results ob...

On homogeneous second order linear general quantum difference equations

In this paper, we prove the existence and uniqueness of solutions of the β-Cauchy problem of second order β-difference equations [Formula: see text] [Formula: see text], in a neighborhood of the unique fixed point [Formula: see text] of the strictly increasing continuous function β, defined on an interval [Formula: see text]. These equations are based on the general quantum difference operator ...

A Note on Ψ-bounded Solutions for Non-homogeneous Matrix Difference Equations (communicated by Agacik Zafer)

This paper deals with obtaing necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of at least one Ψ-bounded solution for the non-homogeneous matrix difference equation X(n+1) = A(n)X(n)B(n)+F (n), where F (n) is a Ψ-bounded matrix valued function on Z+. Finally, we prove a result relating to the asymptotic behavior of the Ψ-bounded solutions of this equation on Z+.
